This week, we're highlighting and celebrating the transformative impact of both Modern Apprenticeships and Foundation Apprenticeships during Scottish Apprenticeship Week.

Scottish Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity to showcase how apprenticeships benefit not just the individuals, but their employers, the economy and our wider communities.

With the theme of 'Skills Generation' being at the heart of this year's Scottish Apprenticeship Week, we're proud to bring you the successes of our apprentices and the dedicated local businesses that partner with Fife College to support the future workforce.

Modern Apprenticeships

Modern Apprenticeships are available across all sectors, including Customer Service, Hospitality, Business Administration, and Hairdressing as well as more traditional industries such as Engineering, Construction, and Motor Vehicle.

“We're in college for a fortnight, every fortnight. We get a different unit every time we go in. It's always changing, picking up loads of skills every time. I have definitely built up a lot of confidence and a lot of skills.”

Foundation Apprenticeships

A Foundation Apprenticeship gives you early exposure to the world of work, helping you to develop the skills, experience, and knowledge you’ll need when you leave school. It's the chance to get a head start on your career by gaining an industry-recognised qualification, work on real projects and broaden your career options.
