Jacqueline Duncan, from Glenrothes is currently enrolled on the HNC Childhood Practice course at Fife College and was delighted to have won £100 worth of Amazon vouchers as a result of completing a survey which enabled her to voice her opinion of the College’s 2017-18 prospectus.

The survey asked the candidates a range of questions relating to the prospectus and staff, students and members of the public were encouraged to take part and share their views. The results from the survey will be used to help ensure that the College continues to produce a publication that meets the needs of our prospective students.

Jacqueline said: “I couldn’t believe it when I heard I had won! I told the whole class as I was in total shock. I never win anything!

“I was happy to complete the survey as I thought this year’s prospectus was attractive and easy to navigate. I really liked the layout and it was simple to find the course I wanted to do and find the courses I can progress on to next year.

“I am so happy to be back at College. I did an Education Support course here a few years ago which I really enjoyed so I have come back to do the Childhood Practice course with the aim of becoming an Early Years Practitioner.

Fife Council has recently introduced a recruitment drive for Early Years Practitioners so this course will put me in good stance for a great job once I am qualified.

“Winning this voucher at this time of year is very handy as it means I can get organised for Christmas and get my Christmas presents bought nice and early.”

Diane Ellis, Director: Marketing and Communications said: “Our annual prospectus survey provides us with invaluable research into what people would like to see in our prospectus. We received a great number of submissions this year and I would like to thank everyone who took part.”
