Student email facilities are provided by Microsoft Office 365.

Unfortunately we are currently experiencing problems with Microsoft Office 365 which is preventing logins from using the usual studentIDnumber@student.fife.ac.uk username.

Digital Services are working with Microsoft to resolve this issue. At present we are unable to say when the issue will be resolved but will keep this page updated with details.

If you need to access your account, we have a workaround in place which will allow you to gain access. Please contact the ICT Helpdesk by email (icthelpdesk@fife.ac.uk) or phone (01592 223117) and provide the following information:

​1 Student ID number, e.g. 0123452
​2 First name
​3 Last name
​4 ​Date of birth or Home postcode
​5 ​​An alternative email address

We will then send you instructions which will allow you to access your email.

To login to your email, please follow these steps:

​1 Go to the following web page: https://outlook.com/studentadamsmithac.onmicrosoft.com/
​2 Type in your username. This will be provided by the ICT Helpdesk and will be in the format: studentIDnumber@studentadamsmithac.onmicrosoft.com
​3 Type in your password. This will be provided by the ICT Helpdesk
​4 ​Press OK
