Fife College are proud to support Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2023 to show the positive impact work-based learning has on businesses, people, and the Scottish economy.

ABOUT SAW AT FIFE COLLEGE 2023

This year’s theme is Unlocking Potential, with the aim of showcasing what individuals and employers can achieve through apprenticeships.

By unlocking potential and providing the skills employers want, apprenticeships support sustained employment, upskilling and a productive economy.

Apprenticeships open opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds and abilities to gain and develop skills that will support them throughout their life and in work.

DETAILS OF SCOTTISH APPRENTICESHIP WEEK

If you want to find out more and chat with us in person, we will be at both Apprenticeships In Fife events, organised by Skills Development Scotland (SDS).

  • Tuesday March 7th at Carnegie Conference Centre, Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, KY11 8DY, Fife

  • Thursday March 9th Auchmuty High School, Dovecot Rd, Glenrothes KY7 5JL, Fife

Taking place from 6pm until 8pm, FREE entry for all, the Apprenticeship Fairs invite local parents, carers, and young people to come together to find out more about Foundation and Modern Apprenticeships.

WHAT WILL BE THERE ON THE DAY...

We will be welcoming employers from a range of industries who recruit apprentices in the local Fife area and who have upcoming opportunities. During the evening, which will include talks from both SDS staff and local apprentices, visitors will be able to visit the marketplace-style exhibition to meet with employers and training providers.

Scottish Apprenticeship Week is a time to show the great things that happen when people and businesses are supported to reach their potential through apprenticeships. Keep an eye on our social media channels from 6th to 10th March where we will be celebrating a few of our Modern Apprentices, Foundation Apprentices and Employers we work with!
