HND Creative Industries : Radio SCQF Level 8

SCQF Level 8

Radio broadcasting in the UK is undergoing an unprecedented period of growth as new independent local and community radio stations compete with podcasting to provide increasing choice and variety of programmes. This has created a buoyant employment market for the ‘all-round’ skilled broadcaster.

Throughout this HND, you will develop professional and personal skills and experience in all aspects of radio to maximise your employment opportunities. The radio industry is a great place to work and we can provide you with the skills and knowledge required. You will be trained using professional broadcast equipment and software essential for the industry. We also provide our students with the opportunity to present live through the College’s own radio station. At Fife College we have a great relationship with our local stations that kindly offer work experience and guest speakers.

This course is endorsed by the University of Sunderland for progression to their BA (Hons) Broadcast Media Production (Stage 3) course.
