Access to Further Education SCQF Level 4

SCQF Level 4

This course is designed to give you an opportunity to engage with College life with the aim of then progressing on to a full time course within Supported Programmes.

What You Study

  • Developing Skills for Employment

The Core Skills of ICT, Numeracy and Communication will be developed and certificated on this course.

Duration and Attendance

One Year Full-time.

Entry Requirements

This course is an SQA Group Award and as such is open to all candidates who have a reasonable chance of achievement. The successful completion of a School-College Partnership course, such as New Directions, from within the Supported Programmes Curriculum area is preferred entry to our full time programmes. Candidates should be able to work at Access 4 / National 4 level.

However, all applicants will be required to attend a selection interview where their suitability for the course will be assessed.

Further Study

Possible progression to courses at SCQF Level 5.
