Introduction to Practical Care Skills
“I studied Introduction to Practical Care Skills at the College’s Cupar Campus, before going on to a Childcare course at level 4.
“My Careers Adviser encouraged me to apply for this course as he thought it would suit me. I’m so glad he did because he was right, it does suit me!
“My favourite part of the course was the practical skills I learned; such as first aid, CPR and moving and handling. I really like the hands-on aspects of Care.
“I’m dyslexic but I receive amazing support at college and this has helped me with writing, spelling and reading and has allowed me to enjoy the course more fully.
“My goal is to be a Nursery Nurse and I plan to work on building my qualifications at college then look for a job.
“I’d recommend this course to everyone. It’s a really enjoyable course and the support available makes it all the better.
“I think it’s great that Introduction to Practical Care Skills is now offered in Levenmouth. It makes it so much more accessible to people in the area. It certainly would have been easier for me if it had been available when I did the course. I’d encourage people to make the most of this opportunity.”
