Would you like the opportunity to represent Fife College Students’ Association at the upcoming NUS Scotland and NUS National Conferences?
Fife College Students’ Association (FCSA) will be sending delegates to both events and this is your opportunity to become involved in local and national matters. As a representative for Fife College students you will be able to influence what policies NUS UK and NUS Scotland will work on. This is also your chance to vote on the leadership of both NUS UK and NUS Scotland.
NUS Scotland Conference takes place on the 18th-19th March in Dundee; the national NUS Conference is on 19th -21st April in Brighton (travelling down on the 18th).
The FCSA will provide travel and accommodation for both events as well as a meal allowance.
How do I get involved?
Firstly you need to provide your name, student ID number and a supporting statement of up to 200 words. The statement should highlight your reasons for volunteering. You should also indicate if you want to go to Scottish Conference, National Conference, or both.
These should be emailed to SAPresident@fife.ac.uk or handed into any FCSA office by 5pm on Friday the 19th February.
We have a set number of spaces for each conference, in the event of there being more volunteers than spaces we will hold a vote so students can decide who they want to represent them. If necessary the vote will be open from the 29th of February to the 3rd of March. The results of this vote will be published on the 4th of March.
If you are under 18 you will need to get consent to attend before you can be selected as a delegate.
I’m not sure I would know what to do…
All chosen delegates will receive training from the FCSA before the conferences and FCSA officers will be on hand at the events to provide any assistance you may need. To book your place contact email@example.com
