Amber Harris

My name is Amber Harris from Glenrothes, and I am currently studying the BA Childhood Studies. Currently, I am learning about child protection, how to support children and young people’s learning and how I can further help them to become confident individuals through the curriculum.

I started my Fife College journey when I was in High School in S5. I did one of the School College Partnership courses, and from that course, just one day a week in the afternoon, I felt really passionate about what I was studying. Therefore, I wanted to further my knowledge in this area, so I ended up leaving school and joined Fife College full time to do my NC Early Education and Childcare level six. From there I have done my HNC, HND and now I am doing my BA Childhood Studies.

Once I am qualified from my degree, I would like to go into my PGDE Primary Teacher to then become a qualified primary teacher.
