"My interest in gaming has been a thing since I was a kid, but it really took off when I started to create games too. I initially studied adult nursing at Stirling University, but I figured out it wasn’t for me so I withdrew from the course after 6 months.
"I decided to find what I wanted to do as a career, and one of my mates lent me a copy of RPGMaker. I found out how much fun making games is.
"I initially studied the Level 5 in Software Development, followed by the NC in Game Development. I am currently in my 2nd year of my HND Games Development.
"Programming games has been my favourite part. There is nothing better than seeing people enjoying a game and being able to say it was you that made it.
"The HND is getting me used to the key features and components of what my future career. I am currently using the Unity games engine to develop my graded unit game, which is a mobile app. I am also planning on taking part in more Game Jams in the future.
"I would recommend my current course to people interested in programming, depending on what qualifications they have.
"My future aims are to get an honours degree at Abertay University and go on to work at a big studio. I’d like to make a name for myself and possibly create my own indie team, but I am aiming to work for the AAA studios first and foremost."
