"I left school after 5th year because I wasn’t really getting on very well.
"I think that because there were so many different subjects at school, it was too much for me. I much prefer being able to get my head into one subject at a time.
"I also wasn’t doing very well in exams at school so I thought it was probably better for me that I left and tried something else in a different environment.
"I came to college to study National Certificate: Architecture and Interior Design and I’ve really loved all of my time here.
“It’s made me realise how interested I am in building and sustainability and that I want to pursue a career in this area.
“I’ve learned so much at college, especially about sustainable architecture and building. One of the tasks we’ve been given this year was to redesign the front of the College’s Kirkcaldy Campus and my design was chosen as the winner!
“I feel like now I’ve found something that I’m really good at. Landscape and architectural drawings and incorporating sustainability.”
