The Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) is a way of comparing the wide range of different Scottish qualifications. It covers achievements from school, college and university as well as many work-based qualifications.

How does the SCQF work?

Every Scottish university and college uses SCQF levels to describe their courses. The level of a qualification indicates its level of difficulty.

The SCQF table will give you a quick and easy to understand guide to the different SCQF levels and where each individual qualification fits in.
