Our courses - developed with industry, delivered by experts
In this growing industry, you will be at the forefront of first-class training and development.
With a wide range of subjects available, from introductory level through to HNCs and HNDs, you’ll come out with a highly marketable set of skills.
As well as our full-time provision, we also offer the opportunity to study a range of our courses through distance learning. The flexible delivery of these courses allows for those in full-time employment who are looking to up-skill to gain a recognised qualification.
Shell’s Girls in Energy
Girls in Energy is a one-year course for high school pupils, run in partnership with energy giants Shell and Fife Council. The course has been designed to introduce young women in secondary school to the energy industry’s wealth of career opportunities and the benefit of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).
Many people think that a job in the energy industry means working on a platform in the middle of the North Sea. The course helps students to rethink these preconceptions and show them the huge range of different careers available both offshore and onshore all over the world.
Maths is very important when looking for a job, or when applying for HNC, HND, or degree courses at college.
If you have a good knowledge of maths, you will be in a stronger position to make your dream career a reality.
At Fife College, we offer maths at National 4, National 5, and Higher level.
We also offer a unique Get Ready for National 5 course which is specifically designed to bridge the gap between a threshold pass at National 4 and the challenge and demands of the National 5 course.
