SWAP is a partnership between colleges and universities in Scotland who work together to support access to higher education for adult learners. Courses are designed for adults who have few or no formal qualifications and who have been out of full-time education for at least three years.
SWAP courses provide an alternative route into Higher Education and are designed to give adult learners intensive academic preparation as well as the opportunity to develop the skills and confidence required to study at Higher Education level.
All of our SWAP courses are studied full-time for one year and are designed to prepare you for entry into HNC/HND or degree study through recognised progression routes at Fife College, and at other colleges and universities across Scotland.

This course gives you an introduction to health and social care professions and the career paths available in these areas. It allows you to begin your studies at level 6 studying subjects such as care and psychology.
