Your creativity will thrive on this course as you learn about fashion design, textile and market research, pattern cutting, garment manufacture, fashion promotion, merchandising, and selling.

Following a fashion business path, your knowledge and skills will be developed enabling progression on to further study or employment.

Mature students will also be considered on an individual basis based on a portfolio of fashion related work and/or relevant fashion, retail, business experience.

Internal CandidatesOne of the following:

  • Intermediate Certificate: Costume Garment Making
  • Intermediate Certificate in Fashion Design and Manufacturing
  • National Certificate: Art and Design SCQF Level 6
  • Another appropriate course at SCQF Level 5 or 6

In addition, internal applicants will also require a positive Internal Learner Reference (ILR).
