This course is aimed at those who have an interest in following a career in building services and focuses on introductory practical and theoretical units in the specific areas of plumbing, electrical installation, and gas.

  • One year full-time

Evidence of good attendance and timekeeping from school, college or the workplace is necessary, as is one of the following:

  • Four National 4s or equivalent (see our Qualifications Explained section for details) including Maths and English
  • Successful completion of the School College Partnership course Skills for Work: Construction Craft (Fife schools only) plus two National 4s or equivalent (see our Qualifications Explained page for details) in English and Maths
  • Certificate: Construction Futures
  • Successful completion of an engineering course at SCQF Level 4

In addition, internal applicants will also require a positive Internal Learner Reference (ILR).
