COURSE INFORMATION

This course will provide you with the wide range of skills and understanding you will require to work in a modern office environment.

This course introduces you to administration topics such as marketing, human resources, ICT, and customer care, as well as including business and enterprise subjects which could spark further study and a rewarding career in a range of professional sectors.

Successful completion of this course will put you in a stronger position to progress on to the next stage of your career or on to higher level study.

You will study a range of subjects including:

  • Office skills
  • Office technologies
  • Microsoft Databases, Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • It solutions for administrators
  • Essential skills for administrators
  • Administrative practices

You will also have the opportunity to select subjects in other areas such as:

  • Accounting
  • Business
  • Legal services

One of the following:

  • Three National 4s
  • A relevant course at SCQF Level 4
  • Relevant industrial experience and/or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
  • Advanced Certificate: Business and Enterprise with Accounting
  • Advanced Certificate: Business and Enterprise with Legal
  • Advanced Certificate: Business and Enterprise with Administration
