COURSE INFORMATION

The Hospitality sector is growing in Fife and Scotland. It is a great place to start your career. The careers are varied from professional cookery opportunities to customer-facing roles. This course will give you an insight in to what career path you can progress on to. You will learn how to cook and produce a wide range of dishes, serve food and drink while giving excellent customer service, and assist in organising an event. You will also undertake a relevant work placement with a local employer. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain an industry recognised qualification while you are at school.

The Foundation Apprenticeship is a new and innovative approach to apprenticeships and will better prepare you for the world of work by equipping you with experience and skills, as well as knowledge, you require for today’s changing labour market

  • Successful completion of the Foundation Apprenticeship Hospitality Skills Level 4

 

  • Successful completion of the Foundation Apprenticeship could provide progression to NC: Professional Cookery: SCQF Level 5
  • Successful completion of the Foundation Apprenticeship could provide employment as a Commis Chef, Food & Drink Service staff or Events Assistant.
