COURSE INFORMATION

This new School College Partnership course is for school pupils wishing to pursue a career in nursing or professions allied to medicine.

It has been designed to allow pupils to access courses at college, which could then lead on to employment or a place on a university course.

It will span over two years at school and offer two Highers and a combination of National 5 units, and Higher units in Mental Health and Dementia as well as National 5 Psychology.

In Year Two it provides a work placement in a care setting, where pupils can gain access to experience to support their career choices in Health and Social Care.
