COURSE INFORMATION
The course is suitable for those wishing increase their cyber security awareness in support of their contribution to strengthening the cyber resilience of their employer or organisation. You will gain knowledge and understanding about security measures, system vulnerabilities and organisational compliance.

- Over 36 weeks you will be required to attend two evenings of two hours per week online.
- You will also be required to attend Kirkcaldy campus in an evening once a month for practical assessments.

It is desirable for you to possess awareness of IT and basic computer networks.
You should have at least one of the following:
- National Progression Award in a computing related subject
- National 5 Computing Science
- National 5 Maths
- Relevant industry experience and/or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis
- HNC Cyber Security SCQF Level 7 or 1st year degree at University.

- This course is free if you are eligible for a Part Time Fee Grant from SAAS (32 credits), otherwise the cost of the course is £343.
- You will require to have a personal computer system running windows (8 GB RAM or 16 GB and 500GB disk space) with a reliable internet connection.
