Progress to a Degree

Did you know that a Health and Social Care HNC or HND qualification is the equivalent of first year (HNC) or second year (HND) of a Health and Social Care Degree at university?

So depending on the subject studied, successfully completing an HNC or HND in health and social care at Fife College could mean that you have the opportunity to progress on to Year 2 or 3 of a related BA, BA (Hons), BSc, BSC (Hons) or MA (Hons) degree course at one of the following partner universities in Scotland.

Abertay University

University of the Highlands and Islands

University of the West of Scotland

Alternatively, you could stay on at Fife College, and study all three years of your BA: Learning Difficulties/Disabilities degree at our Dunfermline campus. So either way, studying Health and Social Care at Fife College can be a more cost-effective, local alternative route to the same Health and Social Care degree in Scotland, in the same amount of time!
