This course is ideal for those who wish to pursue a career in the creative and ever expanding nail services industry. 

It is delivered by lecturers who are knowledgeable, experienced and passionate about the nail services industry and the course will provide you with the  skills and techniques required for employment as a nail technician, or as preparation for further study.

If you are enthusiastic, creative and love working with others then this course is ideal for you.

Please note: You will be required to work in pared activity and bring models in for assessment purposes.

  • To apply for this course, you must be 16 years old by October 31st 2024 
  • You must have good manual dexterity, a pleasant manner and a keen interest in the nail services industry

Entry qualifications - 

  • Three National 4s (or equivalent) , one must be English
  • Those without formal qualifications will be considered dependent on relevant experience
  • NVQ: Diploma in Nail Services VTCT Level 3
  • Nail technician 
  • A specialist kit is required for this course – approx. £70 deposit 
  • You must have your kit  prior to the start of the course
  • You will require a uniform for this course - approx £40. This includes a tunic & trousers. 
  • You must have your uniform prior to the start of the course.
  • You may be required to take part in an informal conversation as part of the application process. This group/individual conversation may be an information session, a portfolio discussion, or a skills based exercise
  • A personal statement with your application form is desirable
