Why Choose Supported Learning?

Our Supported Learning courses offer you the opportunity to participate in a range of activities that promote learning, training and personal development.

For our Supported Learning courses, you might not know what the right career is for you yet. Or you might just want some extra skills to make a start in fulfilling your potential. Our courses look to support you in pursuit of progress onto mainstream college courses, employment or supported meaningful activity in the community.

If you’re unsure which direction you’re heading in, or you’re interested in gaining extra skills to prepare you for the challenges of life, we can show you the way.

New skills that you will learn include:

  • Confidence
  • Independence
  • Teamwork

Why Choose Community-Based Learning?

As part of our commitment to the communities we serve, we offer lots of courses in local venues across Fife through our community-based Adult Learning programmes, which can help you improve your skills for learning, work and life.

Our courses allow you to study somewhere close to home and allow you to get the introductory level qualifications you need to get on to further courses. You can also get help with employability skills, as well as support and advice on how to achieve you job goals. Or you can just learn new skills and gain experience in topics you’re interested in.

Classes are delivered in partnership with Fife Council and our other partners in a relaxed, informal and supportive environment with experienced staff on hand to help you take the next step. You might even be eligible for assistance with childcare and travel costs.
