Progress to a Degree
Our HNC and HND Engineering Courses are the equivalent of the first and second years of an Engineering degree.
If you meet the requirements, you could progress to year 3 and 4 of a specific BEng (Hons) degree course at any of the following partner Universities:
The University of Aberdeen
Edinburgh Napier University
Glasgow Caledonian University
University of the Highlands and Islands
University of the West of Scotland
So studying Engineering at Fife College can be a more cost-effective, local alternative route to the same Engineering degree in Scotland, in the same amount of time!
What Happens after I Apply?
There are four possible outcomes from your interview:
Unconditional offer: you have met all the entry requirements and your place is guaranteed.
Conditional offer: your place is secured pending meeting the entry requirements.
Waiting list: you have met all entry requirements; however, the course is full.
If any spaces become available you may be contacted usually around about the course start date.
Unsuccessful: speak to our Guidance Team. They may be able to help you find another suitable course.
