Short courses for the care industry
We work closely with employers to ensure that we can provide you with a wide range of CPD opportunities which are relevant to your industry sector and your ongoing career development.
Skills development is a priority and CPD helps you ensure that you have the appropriate skills and knowledge that you need to aid your career progression.
Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) are gained based on evidence of the way that you do your job and are perfect for advancing in your chosen field.
Some SVQs may even be legally required to do certain jobs.
They are based on standards of competence and are designed to benchmark people's skills by recognising the job-related skills and knowledge people need in work.
Other care qualifications
We also offer part-time study options to allow you to complete qualifications such as HNCs and PDAs around work and other commitments and help you get ahead in your profession.
