(Introductory)
This is a 1-day course designed to increase understanding of the issues around the care of children and young people with ADHD.
This course is designed to build understanding of ADHD and to share successful strategies for the care and management of children and young people with ADHD.

Autistic Spectrum Disorders
This course will:
- Help you manage positive interaction with people who have an Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- Provide you with an understanding of ASD and how it may manifest itself

- Allow you to understand why ASD awareness is important not only on a personal basis but also for your respective organisation
Epilepsy - Introductory Course
This course is designed to raise awareness of issues surrounding epilepsy and the immediate care of individuals at risk from epilepsy.
It is a 6-hour course designed to increase understanding of the issues around the care of children with epilepsy.
No prior knowledge is needed for this course!

Moving and Handling Passport
This 2-day course is designed to give you an insight into some of the risks of poor manual handling and to equip you with the skills needed to use manual handling techniques as well as appropriate equipment.
The training ensures that you are aware of the risks inherent with poor manual handling and how to respond in an emergency situation.

Care SVQs
Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) are gained based on evidence of the way that you do your job and are perfect for advancing in your chosen field.
Some SVQs may even be legally required to do certain jobs.
They are based on standards of competence and are designed to benchmark people's skills by recognising the job-related skills and knowledge people need in work.
Other care qualifications
We also offer part-time study options to allow you to complete qualifications such as HNCs and PDAs around work and other commitments and help you get ahead in your profession.
