Benefits of taking on a MA

Taking on an apprentice is the perfect way to Build your Business.

Your MA college training and qualification will be fully funded by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and your only outlay will be the MA's wages for their working week, which includes their day release hours at college.

We offer Hairdressing and Barbering apprenticeships at SCQF levels 5 and 6.

There are two intakes per year; February and September. The MA has to be employed in salon for at least three months before starting the apprenticeship. Weekly in-salon training is also required to support the apprentice.

You will be assigned one adviser who will be the point of contact for both you and your MA from start to finish. Your adviser will also deliver performance reviews every quarter.
