11 June 2021

Fife College is to host virtual open days for those considering a career in key sectors such as Built Environment, Digital, Computing and Cyber, and Engineering.

The open days will offer those leaving school this summer, or anyone considering a change of career, an opportunity to find out more about courses available at the College, including those which start in August.

Led by faculty staff from each area, the online events on 22 and 23 June will feature live presentations, pre-recorded video content, student case studies and Q&A sessions.

Pre-recorded video will include “fly-around’ footage focusing on industry-standard equipment and first-class study areas at each campus, giving participants a flavour of the student experience at the College.

Across both days, slots will also be available to book a call with someone from the College’s Admissions or Student Funding Teams to discuss applications or find out more about funding options.

Delivered over Microsoft Teams, the sessions will be made available on demand shortly after broadcast.

Dorothee Leslie, Vice-Principal at Fife College, said:

“Our Virtual Open Days are a great opportunity to get first-hand information and insight about the range of courses on offer at Fife College.

“From the choice to study full-time or part-time to work-placed learning and degree-level progression opportunities, there are a wide variety of ways to study these subjects at one of our campuses across Fife.

“There are great job prospects and exciting career paths within each of these sectors as well, so now really is the perfect time to find out more about courses available in these areas.

“Whether you have just left school, or simply looking for a change, I would urge anyone with an interest in starting their journey towards a career in one of these key sectors to join us at one of the virtual sessions.”
