Fife College Levenmouth students from levels 4, 5 and 6 in Retail and Business raised an amazing £1398.42 after they helped organise a campus-wide Christmas Fayre last December.

The students produced and designed handmade original gift wrapped products such as wax melts, gift mugs, Christmas confectionery, festive decorations and Christmas hampers.  There were also fun festive games such as throw the snowballs, pin the nose on Rudolph, tombola and Christmas quizzes.

The money raised will be going towards the DC Retail Scholarship Fund which will help enhance the students learning journey.  The fayre was a campus-wide event with staff and students from other departments also helping ensure a fantastic day was had by all.

Duncan Campbell, Curriculum Manager, was overwhelmed with their efforts and said, "The students have worked very hard in planning and implementing this event which enabled them to have an outstanding business enterprise activity.

"The Business Enterprise project allows students to take part in a valuable real life business experience and gives them a good foundation to put the skills that they’ve learned into practice.

"Once again special thanks to all staff, students and public who came and supported us at our phenomenal charity event."
