2018 is the Year of Young People (YOYP) in Scotland

This is the world’s first dedicated year of celebrating young people (8-26), recognising their achievements, and valuing the contributions they make to their communities, as well as creating opportunities for young people to shine and have their voices heard locally, nationally, and internationally. YOYP 2018 is a year-long programme of events, activities, and ideas that will put young people in Scotland in the spotlight and give them the opportunity to show the world what they are made of.

How you can get involved

Year of Young People 2018 is being led by the Scottish Government, who work in collaboration with delivery partners including Young Scot. As a college, we're rightly extremely proud of our students and the positive contributions they make. YOYP is the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate the successes and contributions of our students aged between 16 and 26, and young people in Fife more widely. You can get involved by including the College in any activity you are involved in. Tag us on social media, email us the details, even tell your lecturers! There is so much good being down by young people in Fife - YOYP is simply about highlighting these fantastic contributions and celebrating the young people people involved.
