What will I study?
By completing the Advanced Certificate: Engineering Systems, you will develop a wide knowledge of the fundamentals of engineering studying different types of engineering systems. This is achieved through activities such as analysis of materials used within engineering, understanding electrical circuits - including DC and AC circuits. Along with knowledge and understanding of key Health and Safety regulations making you well-prepared for further study or employment in the engineering industry.Students that perform well on the Advanced Certificate: Engineering Systems can be put forward for the National Certificate in Engineering Systems at SCQF level 6 which aligns with Modern Apprenticeship frameworks.
