Advanced Certificate: Hospitality and Events

This highly practical course provides hands-on experience within our purpose-built, professional training restaurant. You will develop strong communication and customer service skills through real customer-facing roles, building confidence in every aspect of event and hospitality operations. Designed for a fast-paced and dynamic industry, the programme equips you with the skills and motivation needed to progress quickly into supervisory or junior management positions. You will study a broad range of subjects through both theoretical and practical sessions, gaining an understanding of how each area connects within the wider hospitality sector. With the College’s investment in state-of-the-art food and beverage facilities, you will also have the opportunity to plan and deliver your own event(s), experiencing first-hand what it means to take the lead in a professional environment.
