What will I learn on the course?
The PDA in Workplace Assessment Using Direct and Indirect Methods at SCQF level 8 is a single SVQ unit qualification that covers areas such as:- preparation and planning of assessments
- assessing candidate performance and knowledge
- authenticating indirect forms of evidence
- confirming progression and achievement
- Contributing to and complying with internal quality assurance
It has been designed for those who assess workplace competence, assessed in the workplace, for example, the assessment of learners undertaking regulated vocational qualifications such as SVQs (or individual units), other workplace qualifications or in-house company standards.

- You would have the opportunity of progressing to other PDAs, such as the PDA inInternal Verification of Workplace Assessment at SCQF level 8 or the SVQ in Learning and Development at SCQF Level 8 or 9.
