You will demonstrate competence in job related skills in your particular area of work. You will be assigned a highly experienced assessor to work with on an individual basis. This assessor will support you to build a portfolio of evidence demonstrating knowledge and competence in this sector.
This is for staff working in an adult care setting and is for working at Care Assistant, Care Worker, Support Worker level. For staff starting their career in the care sector

What will I learn on the course?
During the course you will reflect on your practise within your job role. You will undertake SVQ units that are related to your job role as well as 5 Core skills units. You will learn more about communication, safeguarding, health and safety and produce reflective accounts to show your learning and understanding and how you use communication, health and safety etc in your job role
