Modern Apprenticeship: Social Services and Healthcare SVQ SCQF Level 7
You will demonstrate competence in job related skills in your particular area of work. You will be assigned a highly experienced assessor to work with on an individual basis. This assessor will support you to build a portfolio of evidence demonstrating knowledge and competence in this sector
This course is for staff who are in a senior/practitioner role working in adult settings.
What qualifications will I gain?
MA Social Services and Healthcare Level 7 - this includes the SVQ Social Services and Healthcare Level 7
What will I learn on the course?
Some of the units you will work on will help develop your communication skills, looking at health and safety and how you promote this. Supporting/mentoring staff members, collaborating on care plans. You will learn about Safeguarding and what this is. You will undertake 8 SVQ units, 4 mandatory units and 4 optional that you will chose with your assessor.

There are no formal entry requirements but you do need to be working in an adult care setting for 16hrs or more and have been working for 6mths or more.
