This course is suitable for anyone working in a role where they are likely to be working with individuals who are experiencing the long term effects of trauma.What will I learn on the course?
You will learn how to:- Identify behaviours which may be driven by traumatic experiences
- Demographics most likely to be trauma affected
- How to maximise the principles of trauma informed practice in one to one settings
- What to expect from their organisation to ensure that their wellbeing is maintained and how to ask for this support
Upon completion you will be able to:
- Evidence that you meet all aspects of 'what workers need to know' & 'what workers need to do' of the NTTF.
- You will also meet all occupational standards for stage two of 'Scotlands Roadmap Towards Trauma Informed & Responsive Organisations'.
