BOARD OF GOVERNOR APPOINTMENTS

Three Board vacancies will shortly become available for interested individuals to get involved in Fife College, influencing and shaping the college’s strategy, mission and values.  We are seeking new members who have a strong commitment to changing lives and an understanding of the value of college education and an interest in Fife more generally.

We are particularly interested in applications from people with skills and expertise in

  • Commercial / entrepreneurial business development

  • Local economic activity and skills needs

  • Digital / Cybersecurity / AI

  • Sustainability

All linked to an interest in and enthusiasm about the role of higher and further education in improving Fife and Scotland.

It is an exciting time at Fife College with the opening of a new campus in Dunfermline and a relatively new management team and structure.  We are looking for Board members to get behind this team and focus growing student opportunities, to ensure the College’s continued progress and success.

We particularly welcome and encourage applications from groups currently under-represented on Scotland’s public bodies such as women, disabled people, ethnic minorities and people aged under 50.

The role is voluntary and reasonable travel expenses are paid.  The time commitment is normally around 15 days per year, although more time may be required in the first year while training and induction is undertaken.

The closing date for all applications is 12 noon on Friday 21 November 2025.
