Study Plan Support for Students Affected by GBV
We understand that experiences of gender‑based violence (GBV) can have a significant impact on your wellbeing, safety, and ability to engage with your studies. No one should have to manage this alone, and our team is here to support you in a sensitive, confidential, and student‑centred way.
As part of our support services, we can provide flexible study‑plan options to help you continue your learning at a pace that feels safe and manageable. This may include:
- Adjusted deadlines or extensions
- Flexible attendance arrangements
- Additional time or space to complete coursework
- Tailored study plans to help you re-engage after time away
- Support in communicating with your lecturers or course team
- Coordinated wellbeing and academic support
Our approach is non‑judgemental, confidential, and led by your needs. You are in control of how much you choose to share — our role is to support you, listen to you, and help identify what you feel will be most helpful.
If you have experienced GBV and would like to talk about your study options, you can contact our Guidance Team directly. You will be offered a safe space to discuss what you need and to explore the adjustments that can help you stay on track with your course.
You are not alone. We are here to listen and to support you in whatever way feels right for you.
