We’re excited to introduce a new grant-funded Hospitality Skills and Leadership Development Programme, created to support people working in, or newly joining, the hospitality sector. This opportunity is designed to help individuals build confidence, grow professional skills, and take meaningful steps toward future leadership roles.  

Whether you want to strengthen customer service skills, enhance supervisory capabilities, or broaden your understanding of hospitality leadership, this programme offers a supportive path to learn, grow, and lead.  

 

How can your business benefit?

Your business can access up to £5,000 of grant-funded training, delivered by regional partners.  

Skills training opportunities

Perfect for developing or refreshing practical skills that support operational excellence. 

Examples: Barista training, customer service, food hygiene, sector-specific technical skills. 

Leadership training opportunities

Ideal for staff ready to grow into leadership roles or formalise existing experience.  

Examples: Managing difficult conversations, people management, supervisory development, communication skills. 

This funding is designed to support people with upskilling, internal progression, talent development, and improved staff retention. 

Who can apply?

Businesses are warmly encouraged to apply on behalf of their staff if they meet the following criteria:  

  • Based in the Tay Cities Region  

  • A registered hospitality business (by hospitality definition)

  • Supporting existing staff development- Current members of your team who would benefit from skills or leadership training. 

  • Supporting new staff- New recruits who would benefit from training as they start their roles/are being recruited. 

  • Committed to staff growth
