Fife College Students Raise £422 for CHAS at Christmas Fundraiser
Business Enterprise students at Fife College raised an impressive £422 for the Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) through a student-led Christmas fundraising event on Wednesday 10 December at the new Dunfermline City Campus.
The festive event featured a range of Christmas-themed stalls and activities, including raffles and a tombola. Many of the items sold, such as gift mugs and ‘Merry Melts’, were designed and produced by the students themselves, allowing them to showcase creativity, enterprise skills, and teamwork while supporting a worthwhile cause.
All funds raised will go directly towards supporting CHAS, which provides essential hospice care and family support services to children with life-limiting conditions across Scotland.
The students would like to thank everyone who attended, donated, and supported the event. Their generosity and involvement helped make the fundraiser both successful and enjoyable.
Fife College lecturer Karen Dyce said:
“I am extremely proud of the commitment and hard work the students demonstrated during this enterprise activity. They supported one another throughout the planning and delivery of the event, working collaboratively to manage stalls, solve problems, and ensure the fundraiser ran smoothly. Their teamwork, creativity, and strong selling skills were evident and played a key role in the event’s success.”
