My name is Lee Robertson, and I am currently studying HNC in Sports Coaching and Development. I decided to study at Fife College due to a career change in pursuit of happiness and something that I really enjoyed. Prior to coming to Fife College, I worked in the Royal Navy out of school and then had a career in funeral care. The course that I applied for looks at all different types of coaching, including the psychology behind coaching, and everything that is involved, specifically within football.

The thing I have enjoyed most about the course is meeting new people, the opportunities, and the content that I have learned as this has improved my coaching massively. Through Fife College, I have had many opportunities, one of which is supporting Dunfermline Athletic Youth Academy assisting lecturers in coaching.

While studying at Fife College, I was nominated and received the award for Grassroots Hero, provided by the Scottish Football Supporters Association. The award that I received was for my contributions to Grassroots football in my local community.

The best thing about studying at Fife College is the facilities available, and the people who I have met throughout my studies. The lecturers and staff are very supportive.
