What will I study?

This course is a mixture of theory and knowledge blended with practical experiments and examples that allow a realistic insight into being a construction manager. Through units taught over two years including:


  • Building Services in Large Buildings
  • Construction Materials & Specification
  • Construction Site Surveying
  • CAD: 2D I and Quality in Construction
  • Knowledge will be applied to realistic situations to enhance the learning process


This course is taught over 2 years with additional time needed for study, but the commitment, willingness and perseverance shown towards successful completion will be rewarding and offer new career opportunities within the built environment industry.

What further study options are available?

  • Completion of the 12 credit HNC group award will allow progression into 2nd year at University, top up credits may be required depending on the institution.
