    Studying Full-Time

If you are applying for a Full-time Further Education course, most Scottish students will not have to pay tuition fees. The College will waive the fees of any student entitled to support under the Scottish Funding Council (SFC) Fee Waiver Grant Policy when studying on an eligible course. Once you have accepted your unconditional course offer you will be invited by email to complete a Student Funding Application Form Online to assess your eligibility for bursary funding.

If you are unsure if you are eligible for funding or how your tuition fees will be paid, you can explore the Student Information Scotland website which offers a budgeting tool, funding checker and other resources.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please see details of our course fees.  Please note that this is the fee to be paid only if you are paying your own tuition fees.  You can check funding options using the Student Information Scotland website and entering your details into the funding checker.

You need to log in to your SAAS portal to check the status and value of the awarded tuition fees.  If this is showing as 0.00 under tuition fees submit an enquiry via your SAAS Account asking for your tuition fees to be added to your award.  If the award letter shows your tuition fee value is included, please send a copy to coursefees@fife.ac.uk.  Once SAAS confirm your award with the College your invoice will be cancelled.  Please note SAAS are an external funding body and Finance are unable to assist with your SAAS account, you will need to contact SAAS directly.

The College will update your student record once confirmation is received from SAAS, you will then be issued with an invoice for your tuition fees.  Please refer to our finance details on how to pay and the instalment options available.

If you are unable to pay your tuition fees, please contact coursefees@fife.ac.uk as soon as possible.

Please refer to the College residency requirements for further information and answers to any questions that you may have.

You need to provide evidence of your fee waiver to the College for this to be updated and applied to your record.  Evidence should be issued to the SIS team via email Registry-Enrolments@fife.ac.uk.

Once confirmed and your record is updated the Finance team will cancel your invoice. Please note that the invoice will remain outstanding until you action this. This should be done as soon as possible to prevent next steps regarding outstanding tuition fees.

You need to provide evidence from your employer that confirms they will cover your tuition fees. You must provide either a Purchase Order or a signed College employer mandate form as soon as possible to coursefees@fife.ac.uk. Once received the Finance team can cancel your invoice and invoice your employer. Please note that the invoice will remain outstanding until you action this
