COURSE INFORMATION
eSports is one of the most exciting areas in the entertainment and games world at the moment. This course will include a flavour of eSports around games performance, and organising and promoting an eSports event.
As well as achieving a National Progression Award in Computer Games Development, you will also receive a CISCO Certificate on completion of the CISCO Get Connected unit. CISCO is the world's most robust IT infrastructure brand and a well-known household name for global tech companies. It is part of Microsoft's infrastructure.
You will also be introduced to games design and development, including the use of the Games Engine Unreal. Unreal is the world's most advanced and cutting-edge real time 3D creation tool.

- Three National 3s in Maths, English, and a Science/Technology subject (preferably with at least one of these areas at National 4, or at least an indication of ability to work at National 4 level)
- If you are able to demonstrate a keen interest in animation or games development then you may also be considered. Work experience and/or other qualifications will be considered on an individual basis

- After this, you may be required to take part in an informal conversation as part of the application process. This group/individual conversation may be an information session, a portfolio discussion, or a skills based exercise.
