The range of courses provided by Fife College including the bespoke training programmes developed in partnership with NHS Fife, offers students looking to start a career in health care, as well as our current staff, the chance to access local expert training and support to develop their skills and knowledge in this field.
We are growing quickly and made the business decision to invest in our own training capacity. Designed specifically for Mowi, the Fife College training was delivered on-site at our Rosyth facility and focused on the way we work and our needs. We are delighted with the results. Babcock's collaboration with Fife College has been fundamental in delivering a number of bespoke programmes at Rosyth, the most recent of which being our Production Support Operative (PSO) and Trainee Welder programmes. As our local skills provider, Fife College delivered a 5-week programme to provide our PSOs with the essential skills to enable them to work safely in the workplace.
