Emerging talent will take centre stage in a free photography showcase in Dunfermline this month.

Fife College photography students will present their annual end-of-year exhibition at Fire Station Creative, featuring a wide range of lens-based works including portraiture, documentary, landscape, experimental imagery and digital photography.

The free-to-attend exhibition opens on Thursday evening (7 May 2026) at 7pm, offering the public a chance to experience visual storytelling from a new generation of photographers. It highlights both technical skill and creative expression, with each piece reflecting the students’ artistic growth and individual perspective.

Lecturers from Fife College praised the dedication and creativity demonstrated by students throughout the year, noting that the exhibition marks an important step towards further study or careers in the creative industries.

All members of the public are warmly invited to attend the exhibition, which will run until Sunday, May 31.

Ian Moir, gallery curator at Fire Station Creative, said:

"This annual showcase from Fife College photography students never disappoints. We’re grateful to share their work with our visitors because it demonstrates the talent we have in the region. The educational courses are clearly very successful."

Fire Station Creative continues to play a vital role in supporting local artists and delivering accessible exhibition space for up-and-coming talent.
