Fife College is proud to deliver the Hospitality Skills Project (HospitaliTAY), part of the wider Tay Cities Skills and Employability Programme. As part of this project, we are now inviting hospitality businesses across the region to apply for grant-funded training opportunities.
This project focuses on supporting the growth and sustainability of the hospitality sector by investing in people. Businesses in Angus, Dundee, Northeast Fife, and Perth & Kinross can apply for funding to develop both practical skills - such as customer service, barista training, and food hygiene - and leadership capabilities, including people management and supervisory skills. Designed in response to industry need, HospitaliTAY aims to help individuals build confidence, gain recognised qualifications, and progress into future leadership roles. By supporting both existing employees and new recruits, the programme enables businesses to strengthen their teams and improve long-term resilience.
The application process has been designed with the sector in mind - simple, flexible, and supported by staff who will work closely with businesses to identify the most relevant training opportunities.
Further information, including how to apply, is available here and applications close 7 June 2026.
This work represents an important opportunity for Fife College and our partners to support workforce development, strengthen the regional economy, and contribute to the continued success of the hospitality sector.
