HospitaliTAY funding inspires young people to consider hospitality careers

Posted on: 07/09/26

The Tay Cities Hospitality Skills Project (commonly known as HospitaliTAY) at Fife College is making a difference to young people across North East Fife by helping them discover the wide range of opportunities available within the hospitality sector.

A recent grant awarded by the project to Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) created opportunities for young people to take part in hands-on experiences, meet hospitality professionals and gain industry-recognised training. Through this collaborative initiative, pupils developed valuable employability skills while gaining insight into potential future careers within the sector.

A new case study showcases the impact of the school intervention programme within the project and highlights how collaboration between education and industry is helping to develop future talent, strengthen employability skills and encourage progression into hospitality careers and further education pathways.

This is just one of many interventions, with case studies being shared in the future.
