Progression maps and options
When you're choosing a course, it's important to make sure you choose the one that's right for you. This includes making sure it has the right progression options for you.
Similarly, if you have a career in mind but you're unsure about what courses can take you there, it's helpful to know which ones could get you to where you want to be.
ALL of our courses offer progression routes to higher level courses here at the College, university degrees, and employment opportunities.
A BSc while still at school
BSc (Hons) Computer Systems lets you complete your first year of an Honours degree by the end of 6th year!
Our exciting partnership with Heriot-Watt University and Fife Council gives you the opportunity to study and achieve an HNC (Higher National Qualification – SCQF Level 7) while still at school and studying for Highers and Advanced Highers.
“At school, the more Engineering-y subjects tend to be male-dominated and it can be hard to concentrate in school environments. It’s been nice to come to college and study on campus."
Meet Kirsty, Niamh, and Emma from Auchmuty High School.
