Chloe Watson

My name is Chloe Watson, and I'm from Kennoway in Fife. I recently completed the Level 6 Photography course at Fife College.

I chose Fife College because it was my local college, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. I've loved every minute of my time here.

My photography journey began in 2022 when I studied the NPA Level 4 Photography course at Levenmouth Academy. As the next level wasn't available there, I decided to continue developing my passion for photography at Fife College.

Throughout the course, I've built a much stronger understanding of camera settings and technical skills, while also learning techniques I hadn't experienced before. I've particularly enjoyed exploring studio photography and developing my skills across a range of styles, including candid and street photography.

One of the highlights of the course has been meeting new people, making lasting friendships, and learning from such supportive and knowledgeable lecturers.

Having now completed the course, I'm excited to continue my studies by starting a BA (Hons) in Photography at Edinburgh Napier University.

My long-term goal is to run my own photography business. I'm already taking the first steps towards that by working as a freelance photographer and building my own website and portfolio.
