Fife College Student President Carol Hunter and Marketing staff Mikey Mlotkiewicz and Joy Carters help spread the apply NOW message for February courses.

Fife College has announced this week that it’s not too late to apply for a College course this new year with a range of courses beginning in February.

The College is running the courses at its campuses in Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Rosyth and Levenmouth and is keen to ensure those who are considering college can still benefit from this opportunity and apply now.

The February courses are perfect for school leavers, career changers and those looking to make a fresh start and gain some qualifications. Many of the courses are short, up to 18 weeks, and are full or part-time enabling people to fit their studies around work and family commitments.

Dorothée Leslie, Vice Principal for Academic Strategy, is keen to encourage those who are thinking about college to make the next step and get in touch.

Said Dorothée: “Starting a course at this time of year can be the perfect choice for so many people. We are all looking to make positive changes in the new year and a February course can give you a great head start if you are looking to secure a job later in the summer or keen to progress on to one of our full-time courses in September. It can also give you the opportunity to try college and see if it is for you without committing to a whole year of study.

“From engineering and computer games to care and professional cookery courses – there is something for everyone!

“Those with no previous qualifications can also benefit from our Start Here for Qualifications, Step In and other access courses which will help raise confidence and improve skills.

“I would encourage anyone who is thinking about College to get in touch or apply on line today!”
